My longest PB geode is not included?

 

Just keep in mind you wont get geodes from other breeds than pebble and stones. (i know there are zombies and dead in mine but its still purebreed as geodes just come from above and never from other breeds )

 

So thats the reason??

I think I saw something about hybrids not being accepted at all due to tecnichality. But that sounds horribly unfair and would propose something more along the lines of "as long as it's purebred from generation 2 and on" possibly with Geodes requiring all one type of CB ancestor.

But the thing that would only count for hybrids, cause if you do a far as only 2nd gen then you can have any cb parents as longs as the rest is pb.

Better yet how about a purebred / for hybrids ( is that the correct word) i mean its 2 more categories to add or if we think it nicely just one

Yeah, only for hybrids. I thought that part was kind of implied

 

I'd vote for "all one type of ancestor" for stones (Either green OR pebble, no crosses. Dunno about the CB Thuwed Geode...) and "all one type of pairing" for Blunas/Shallow Waters. Personally, I'd also vote "all CB pairs must be identical" (Like this, where it's all Male Water X Female Magi and no Male Magi X Female Water) for the latter two as well, but that's just an opinion.

I always thought that Dragons with Deadline and/or Zombie Parents couldn't be considered Purebreds? That's why I thought the last Nocturne Lineage was taken down. Has this changed?

Well thats what i cant remember, what were the rules on it, and i dont want to read 73 pages back

Thing is that the idea of making them one pair only is a bit of a fuss. but its more likely to be perfect and "pure bred" as for the dead things and zombie ones, i guess that rule apply, and therefore the last geode would not be included due to having dead parents on scroll, these could be some new rules that need checking

No, I would exclude dead lineages!

 

(as for geodes and other hybrids that include dead ones or zombies << still feel that should be a different matter)

I remember this issue comming up long ago, but im sincerly too "vago" to go look it up. another option is let the community decide :/

Just did a search through 150 pages that the search function came up with for "dead" and "zombie". No official ruling to be found. If it was there, my guess is that it was wiped (has this thread ever been wiped?). This in mind, I do believe it would be necessary to put this up for vote, or otherwise make some sort of official ruling.

 

Some interesting tidbits I found:

- Out of curiosity, why was this never added to the trivia? It really does look like it deserves a spot!

- Found out that Kapanikos designed a script for counting dragons of a species. From the looks of it, it's wonderful. Unfortunately, his last post was on Jul 8 2011, 09:00 AM. Think he can be contacted still? We just had an inquiry about this exact kind of thing!
