I would say yes if I was irresponsible XD

I haven't gotten much into Java lately, and Threads are the topics that I avoided, as I felt that I wasn't ready to dive into that yet (the only basic thread knowledge I have is synchronisation and locks, start, run, stop). Maybe if Class(C) has member that is class(A) or class(B)? I wish Java contains pointers to threads XD

I think that's enough for me.XD

I think I should leave (A) unnecessarily running at this point. It isn't that heavy thread (It have access in network though.).

I thought of something, would a static global synchronised boolean variable work? Class(A) runs or pauses/stops depending whether the boolean is true or false, and the one that controls the boolean is another thread that runs with a class(C), which has a method (or inside the method) to switch the boolean. I didn't pay attention to my programming classes well; is that viable?

I think that's worth of trying, but I think should do it later. I have to show my project to professor today so I have to keep it stable.

I've been trying to get a working emulator for pokemon nuzlockes, but so far the only one I know to try isn't working. I use the pokemon game files on a websites and they work for both smart phones and computers. I have no problem on my phone, but I can't do any recording or anything on a phone. so, could someone please link me to a trusted emulator that can handle gameboy style games all the way through DS games? (basically from Red and Blue all the way to Heart Gold and Soul Silver) And if I'd have to pick just one gameboy system I'd rather have a GBA style.

The game files I need it to support can be found here: http://operationidroid.com/

Does Facebook have any kind of customer support apart from their "help" pages? Like a support email address or contact form?

Thank you @Fuzzbucket - it looks like they really don't want to be bothered with millions of "I lost my password" emails, but I tried anyway now.

(I'm trying to access a company's account that has been inactive for a while, and whoever was the last person who had the password doesn't work for the company anymore. And for some reason the password reset email never arrives, not even in the spam folder.)

Edit: ... Facebook's mailbox is full. o_O

I'm currently operating webserver with IIS. When I access my webpage on https with Chrome, it says it says it using outdated security configuration. I know my certificate is valid. Can anyone know which configuration I should touch from server?

Spoiler

I guess this thread is dying, but uh, i wasnt really sure about what i read in internet. I have a 2011-13 HP pavilion g4 laptop, and got an overheating BIOS screen recently, so decided to search up bit and installed this program. Are these temperatures good in idle, or are there probs of technical failures in heat "controllers" (fans, disipators, etc)? Running win8.1 currently, and have a good bunch of free space.

Those CPU package temperatures (112 degrees max?!) are entirely too high.

Quite. (On the other hand I have to say - my machine was built to my specs - and one thing I asked for was extra fans....)

I connected two speakers on my PC. Are there any way to use both speakers in same time in Windows environment? I want each programs can choose which speaker to use as output. I'd more prefer the way to do it without downloading additional program if it exists.

Have you tried using method 1 stated by this site? https://appuals.com/output-audio-multiple-devices-windows-10/

It allows you to attach two audio devices concurrently to your PC and doesn't require any freeware. Though it doesn't provide specialised audio outputs per app (e.g. program 1 playing to speaker A, program 2 playing to speaker B.)

I think from here, once you connect the two speakers, you'll have to set, via System settings -> App volume and device preferences, the type of audio output you'd like each application to have, described here: https://www.howtogeek.com/352787/how-to-set-per-app-sound-outputs-in-windows-10/

Haven't tried this method out for myself however. Lemme know if it helped!

Seems like my computer doesn't supports those methods. Might try to look for audio drivers...

I tried one at first link and it actually doesn't I wanted. It is playing at two speakers at same time. Second link one seems like what I want but looks like that method is not supported on this version of Windows...

I need to get a new laptop, and I was wondering if people who are more computer-savvy than me might have some recommendations?

I've always used Windows OS up until now, but I'm not happy with them any more. I really liked Windows XP and Windows 7, but I hate Windows 10. I find it cluttered and difficult to navigate, plus it comes loaded down with so much bloatware it's not even funny.

I mostly use my laptop at home, so I don't care much about long battery life, but I like something with a lot of memory so I can store video files. I want a system that is easy to navigate and arrange my files. I want to be able to run Adobe software like Photoshop and Illustrator.

I'm leaning towards getting a Macbook, but since I haven't used them much I don't know know about the different models. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I love my Acer Aspire. It's a few years old now, but I bet the newer ones are as good.

I always have things "built" to my specs; it is VERY much worth it (and very often cheaper.) I go into a store I trust and tell them what I want and they put it together for me, based on the model I select. And they kill all the bloatware before I take delivery :) I had it built with Windows 7. You need a nice friendly store to do that for you !

Macbooks are SO expensive. LInux ?

As my main computer blew up a few weeks ago, I'm currently using my old Laptop that I bought about 7 years ago.

It's a Dual core Intel Core i5-3230M with 8GB RAM and a 1TB HD running Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS and still looks really neat.

Heh. Looks like they still sell the same design: https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/de/Linux-Hardware/Linux-Notebooks

And yeah, they build stuff to your specs if you don't find the right one in the shop. If you happen to be in Germany, I can recommend the folks.

Does anybody know how long an iphone battery diagnostic test takes (performed by a technician, not something a user can do with an app)?

(More like 2 minutes or 20 minutes?)

google suggests 20-45 minutes.

Google not always right, but still...

Thank you @Fuzzbucket! All my Google searches lead to variants of "how to check your battery status on your phone" support articles, so I'm glad you found something better. (And if the information is accurate, it is what I was hoping for.)

It was from something about what happens if you go into an Apple store and ask about your battery. It mostly ends with "so better buy a new one...."
