Valkiepoo - I recognise that lineage... My only Shallow Water is from that line! Vilgsa's parents are 'One weak moment' and 'Well maybe two'.

By the way - I love the naming scheme. I was very amused when I browsed through it.

 

 

I've never had this happen to me, but I make sure to honour previous naming schemes whenever possible and I'm sure that someone out there was consoled by my biting of the Terrae because of this guy.

I don't regularly check on my dragons' offspring, but when I do, I love seeing them named after their parents.

Oh my Cat! I was so inspired by the EarthDay egg I picked up and was just wondering today if the breeder would appreciate the name I gave her...

 

Looks like it must be yours. ((The Loam part of her name is because, I intend to breed her a matching mate!))

 

I also released a Terrae egg for Earth Day and was delighted to find it had been parent-named.

Also, I found this (I owned the dead grandparents). I figured that "Killfodder" and "Caught to Die" would be enough indicate that the grandparents would be killed, but just in case, I named my next pair for my deadline project with names that specifically state that they'll be deadline'd.

My names are difficult to name the babies after unless you know Japanese, but it made me happy to see that someone named this Ridgewing after his parents. It actually sounds really nice, if only he alted for them.

uhmmm.. I have a lot. I tend to name em after their parents because I can't think of names.

this guy was named so because I was thinking of the parents while doing other things and I was like... "Jossed... something? Venom jossed? Eh, that sounds cool."

I have certain naming pattern (I use letters from the code), but I think from now on I'll name AP dragons and gifted ones after their parents (if they have names of course).

Sometimes (okay, often) I have trouble thinking of names for my dragons. Picking up someone else's bred egg is so much easier for name inspiration.

 

But going on another naming spree since the massbreed raffles, I found myself.... naming two of my dragons after their abandoned kids.

 

"Thalion" being my group name for CB Royal Crimsons, followed by some sort of martial term, I now have:

Thalion Harbinger and

Thalion Honor Guard

I check lineages on a lot of the Royal Crimsons that cross the AP, and absolutely had to keep that one because of the parents friendly names! <3 I'm also really missing my Alan Parsons Project albums!

The hatchling i have throown into the ap haven't been named after theyre parent but i have name one of my dragons after theyre larebts.the parent was somrthing like"i ended fantasy" then i name the offspring "fantasy begins" ,it was kibd of to spite the parent .
