Naming, after parents.

I was gifted by a glomp gifter, and then I bred this to gift back, and got really happy with the way it was named =)

Oooh, I own that one's grandparents, the Algarond ones! I remember trading that one because it went red and I wanted a blue one. So cool that the name got carried on. Thanks for posting it!

I found this in the AP, and it both hooked me on Flamingos (was already hooked on Turps) as well as gave me a lineage idea.

 

When I get eggs that have named parents, I do try to at least pay homage to their naming styles.

Like the following:

Come Here Star

50 Hued Stars

Fall of the Golden Soul

Following the Stormy Star

Hail the Admin

Cinnamon Hot Chocolate

Hello Christmas Red

Glowing Heart of the Red Rose

Especially if it was a gift. I feel that if someone went out of their way to breed something for me (as is the case for all my Reds but one, and my Blusang), the least I can do is not screw up their naming style.

It tickled me pink recently when I went to breed a pair again and saw their first child had a matching name. ^__^

 

Most of my bred dragon's names are inspired in some way by their parents or someone back in their lineage.

 

And since I lost all of my previous dragon names to inactivity, some of my dragon's are named for their children. @_@
