Okay, guys, listen. STOP. POSTING. GROSS. PICTURES/VIDEOS. This is for SCARY things, not disgusting things.

 

Mod Posted Rules

• All pictures, links, videos, etc. must comply with board rules. No excessive gore or violence or the such. If you wouldn't show it to your grandma or a teacher, best not to post it here.
• If you are post a picture or video link where the page has comments, take a quick look through them. If they are all inappropriate, find another way to post without the comments, like by finding the video elsewhere. Otherwise, please post the link broken. Ie, don't post: http://www.youtube.com/blahblahblah . Post: youtube.com/blahblahblah so that people can't just click and be brought to comments that may be potentially inappropriate. If it is just the comments that are inappropriate, please use youtuberepeat (just add "repeat" after "youtube" and before ".com" in the url).
• If someone asks you to link something, please go back and do so. It's just common courtesy.
• If a picture stretches the page, please link it.
• Don't be afraid to give warnings for your links. It's highly encouraged. You don't have to give away what it's about, but posting "gore", "bright lights", "gross" whatever is a common courtesy. You're here to thrill each other, not scar each other.
• Gross =/= scary, but it is more likely to be inappropriate.

Hello, this is The Scared Thread!

The scared thread is basicly just the place to post everything scary. Including:

. Videos

. Pictures

. Stories

 

If it's not scary, for the love of god, DON'T POST IT.

Screamers count as scary.

Though my poor, weak, weak pansy heart does not appreciate it.

 

So yeah.

Start.

 

 

 

ALSO:

DON'T post spiders, because unless you have arachnaphobia (sp), they aren't scary. Speaking of phobias, there are a ton of people are severely arachnaphobic, and that's just pretty mean.

 

Gore and blood alone isn't allowed, and it's not really "scary". Just disturbing.

 

 

I'd post a few pictures right now, but google images sucks and loads forever. >:U

It's kind of ridiculous to expect us to be cyberpolice foreverafter we post a link to Youtube.

Really, we're not referring the comments, we're referring the videos. It's the viewer's own fault if they scrolled down to read them, let alone if they got their feelings hurt.

Post the Youtube links, I say. Post them all.

Hey, heads up for all youtube links- use the Youtube repeat trick, it hides all comments.

 

In the url, type in 'repeat' between 'youtube' and the dot.

Use youtuberepeat or you can break the link; I'll accept that, too. Especially if you're on a video you know will gain some pretty bad/trollish comments. :3

I played that... Kept getting caught by the zombie-shadow-pony things!

 

Tip here-There's a house out of town you go to with a locked door. You find a key in one of the houses after solving a puzzle; this unleashes a whole pile of creepiness onto the town... Get ready to button bash for your life, and stay away from the creepy ponies!

Wow. Haven't been here in awhile.

 

Thought I'd post something I made, considering we're on the discussion of MLP.

 

 

Slendermare

 

 

Tick tock, tick tock

 

Down in the wood

The suspicions grew

Of a stranger, stranger

In the glass where the warm autumn blew

 

And night was day

So did the fading jade

Of the colored paper leaves

Now silver and gold and fire, shimmering, twirling,

not the shaky way they fell down before, straight

But twisting, turning

 

In the dark and rose of the breach

A stranger, a stranger, they stepped into the wood

Into the entwining branches

And floated cross the glass

A filly bouncing along

singing a song

 

Every body was melody

And the shadows turned to meet the tune

A pony tiptoes, tiptoes

As the stranger began to loom

Silver and dark

Stretched across the branches, racing to meet the sky

And meet that filly

 

Tick tock, still tock

And clickedy clop

The rustle, the scramble, oh

what fun

Across the wonder land

 

Something is off, the world is surreal

A glimpse of the tall stranger, stranger

Across the water, the horse stopped

It stared with no eyes

 

In the dark of the gleam

So did the trees seem to glow, to loom with ebony

And reached up high, as far as that horse

With the legs so tall and graceless

 

The filly did run, oh fun, oh fun

But only for the tock tick of the strain

 

Down the ethernal came

And down did the climate drop

Mud began to splatter with rain

The leaves were kicked, a wonderland picked

Through by that silver horse, dancing in the rain

 

 

 

And now that awareness

Of the dampened far singing

And a presence of something staring at the fate

Scrambling 'round nature's bend

Insides scream, wet with fear

New found as the depths leap high

A beacon of safety, in the gloom that darkened your happy

And the dark, dark mare came racing after in the wood

Fire as night

Twinkle in the light

But the light is scarcely there

The matting of grass in the field still creaked

But from a tumble, a fumble

Of only one footstep

 

Of the only one who was real in the silver 

 

Forever dancing to the flowers and pressing on the glass

The stranger, stranger still lurks, my dear

Welcome forever for company

 

As the autumn cools in the misery of the fading whispers

Doubt soon lurked until it was gone

 

Tick tock, tick tock,

the wood wishes for you to discover

As the eaves trickle down and turn to the sliver of the rippling water

As the branches stretch into the foreboding forever dark

and the leaves tremble in anticipation

She is still standing behind.

And I watched someone play Story of the Blanks. Pretty interesting game.

Here, have another horrifying picture of spiders, many of which are Brown Recluse. This thread needs more terror.

 

(The above picture contains an insect glue trap, infamous for inherent cruelty in dispatching pests. I apologize if anyone is upset by it.)

For those of you with weak stomachs and hearts, the above links are images, they contain no gore, insects/arachnids, other creepy crawlies, no blood n guts, no ghosts and no ghouls, and no criminals. But I assure you they will still...terrify you.

Joking aside, here's an interesting scene from the game .flow: Run, Sabitsuki!

 

There's some pixel blood in it, but it's not too detailed(What really makes it creepy is the laughter). The video is also pretty quiet, but it's safe to turn up the volume since it's not a screamer.
