Posted April 22, 2014 Pimp My Hide (S2 male Grave Dragon) This hatchling, once all white, applied to a popular show 'Pimp My Hide' on MTV (the Millennium Theatre Variety). Anyone who wanted to participate had to send in a parchment wherein they described why they were discontent with their current state. Any hatchling chosen would win a makeover at the tattoo specialists of West Cave Customs. The hatchling won, and the presenter of the show, a somewhat well-known minstrel named Eggzibit, picked the hatchling up for the makeover (which was done under anesthesia). Unfortunately, the first thing the hatchling heard when he regained consciousness was Eggzibit saying: "Yo dawg, I heard you like flames so we put some flames on your hide so you can flame people when you hide." That was the moment the hatchling realized that Reality Theatre is a bad thing... Accept: Why am I not surprised this one is yours Rally -H Accept: HA HA HA! Posted April 22, 2014 (edited) ^^As soon as I saw that MTV stands for "Millennium Theatre Variety", I knew that was going to be a great description. As a hatchling, Meow could handily fight and win against other hatchlings, even a few non-pygmies. Particularly, he bashed opponents with his head As he grew, though, he stopped putting so much importance on hitting hard, opting instead to make use of his eyespots, leering and giving mean looks. The most action he really does nowadays is cut branches and other small things and recycling items. Because of his change of lifestyle, several humans who used to adore the little powerhouse ignored him to pay attention to other dragons, though some still feel he could be a great leader if they just give him a chance. Accept: Accept: This dragon is a Communist! Don't let him see Stalin when he comes into this world in about a thousand years! THUNDER - AH AH AH AH AH AHA AH (Male s2 Thunder hatchling) This hatchling assembled four other hatchlings, forming a group of five. Day in and day out those five visit public places, where they repeatedly shout (going louder with each repetition): "THUNDER! Ah Ah Ah Ah Ah Ah Ah Ah!" . This attracts a lot of attention from unsuspecting passer-by. When a large enough crowd has assembled, the hatchling directs an electrical spark towards a spectator and shouts: "THUNDERSTRUCK! YAY YAY YAY!" . Since the other hatchlings are Pebble and Geode Dragons, the group gives off the image of a 'Hard Rock' Band. The band leaves nothing to chance and plans their performance with scrupulous precision. The timing has to be perfect, with the exact amount of repetition in every single recital. Because of this, people refer to the group as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Clan (or short: OCDC). Accept: That is SO cute! One time, she felt really sorry for a person who didn't have any orange coppers, and only one brown copper, so she mated with ShineyFly to give the poor person an egg. Since then, she saw Have Some Tea and fell in love with him. He is now her mate for life. She likes people who are observant, and together with Have Some Tea she often rewards them with eggs. Posted April 24, 2014 On a serious note... he was my grandfather. He was a good man. I was gifted this dragon on the day he passed away, so I thought it only fitting to capture a little bit of his big personality in the description. Thank you for the comment--it meant a lot to me. I figured that it was based off of someone in your life, but I never really thought that it was based off of a perished relative... I'm getting kinda choked up now. I'm sure your grandfather was an amazing man, and I'm sorry for your loss. But at least you got to know him while he was still alive and well. ... Ok, now onto the main reason why I'm here. Ralph and Felix - Adult male Duotone Ralph and Felix are two extremely different dragons, despite sharing the same body. Ralph, who controls the red half, tends to be nice at first, but can easily lose his temper. When he does, he becomes a whirling dervish of tail, teeth and claws, destroying everything he can until he calms down. However, as long as whoever he encounters stays on his good side, he's generally a gentle giant, albeit a major klutz, and is incredibly protective of his friends. Felix, who controls the purple half, is extremely patient and docile. He avoids conflict at all costs, and considers any words that might incite even the slightest bit of anger into someone to be "bad words." It is extremely hard to get on his bad side, and due to him being so kind, he is quick to forgive. He considers it to be his job to fix whatever Ralph wrecks, and does so quite well for only controlling half of the body. Together, they make such a wacky duo, the scroll owner is baffled by their ability to function. Now to wait for someone to get the reference... Drako the Keeper - Adult female GoN Drako is a rather special case. Being a Guardian of Nature, her owner expected her to be rather protective over the cave she was born into. However, nothing could have prepared her for what was to come. As the hatchling grew, she began to mimic the owner's behavior. At first, it was minor things such as walking on two legs and making sure the other dragons stayed out of trouble to the best of her ability. However, as she matured, things got... weird. She began to mirror the owner almost perfectly, from her personality and fears right down to her strange little habits. Jokingly, the owner named her after herself, giving her the title of "Scroll Keeper" to keep her occupied. To this day, Drako still watches the scroll with an eagle's eye and, though she cannot perform tasks such as curing eggs and hatchlings of their ailments or making sure they grow up, she still does her best to watch the cave while the true owner is away. So far, she has been quite successful at it. Posted April 24, 2014 Red Square was blind since birth. On the bright side, her sense of smell and hearing became sharper than other nebulas'. She could easily sense from a mile away the bowls of goo they spent hours painting on her, but she never scrubbed it off since they liked it so much. Some years ago in October when she had a cold, the dragon wandered away from the main carnival to an empty tent, where a wyvern jumped her. The stranger didn't kill Red Square, but he sniffed and groped her while she was pinned down, which instilled even more fear in her. He then angrily asked why she had patterns painted on, if she was mocking him in some way because he's all black and can't see. The confusion cleared when Red Square threw him across the tent, shouting that she's blind and her friends painted her. He's a disdainful and snarky nebula, but the two somehow became friends. Some months later, the last of her paint fell off, and Red Square decided to travel with him as a second, blind "magnificent marvel". (comments about changing "grope") Hey, you're probably right - I was using the term as the general-feeling-around, but I'm sure it's more often used with an object. Heh. Oh well, I might've gotten away with it. Oh, and someone who didn't sign asked who the other neb was. Remember the House of Magnificent Marvels from Halloween, with the albino tea, rooster, leaking turpentine, etc.? I wanted to describe one of the sadder-looking items there. Give 'em a description. It looks peculiar to dragons and humans alike: she positions herself perpendicular to the seabed like a stalk of kelp, undulates and flops, and swings her curled pectoral fins in small loops. She is occasionally accompanied by red-finned tidals in her routine. It is thought that 2008 Wants Its Punchline Back is trying to attract a certain someone whom she only calls "you", but it doesn't appear to be working, as no one has stepped up to claim that position. She's a stubborn dragon, though, and promises she will "never gonna give you up; never gonna let you down". Accept: Tihihi -H Accept: interesting -MS Abstain: she is "never gonna" not will. Posted April 26, 2014 (edited) This obnoxious Seragamma Wyvern is egotistical and honestly believes that he is the strongest dragon in all of EG's Cave. Each time a dragon challenges him to a battle just to shut him up, he never actually fights but laughs and pokes fun at the other dragons. "Do you even lift..." he mutters, shaking his head. Little does he know, his lack of regular sparring has resulted in his being one of the weakest males in all of EG's Cave. He is even weaker than some of the Mint dragons. Abstain: I don't really get the "Do you even lift..." part... -Daya Know your meme! (warning, idk if there is questionable language in that link, but that's the reference.) Posted April 27, 2014 :x I don't usually write descriptions or post them here if I do... but I've been wrangling with this one for a long time and I finally feel its grammar has been straightened out but.... there's one comment... that I don't quite agree with grammar wise :x Unloved by his parents, 3687744's name was given to him by his true parents as psychological torture stating that he would receive a true name if he lived up to their expectations. They later abandoned him saying he was an embarrassment for being so meek and cowardly in nature. His master Lavaheart does her best to treat him with care giving him extra attention to make up for the abuse he received while young. The effects of their lack of love still affect him today and these days he claims that his "shadow" is alive. Many of the other dragons are nervous around him, stating that his shadow does seem to move on its own accord from time to time.
