Posted December 31, 2017 I would love to see this continue, but I hear what helix9 is saying; there're not very many active participants anymore and without people it's hard to continue. (So two Halloween lines per year, but only one Christmas & Valentine.) It's not like these lineages take a lot of effort on the participant side... People willing to help with mod stuff woud probably be helfpul, though... A Holly line would be awesome, now that there actually are CB hollys around! I would happily be a part of that! Posted January 15, 2018 (edited) I think it would be sad to discontinue this. A person by themself just can't do a proper holiday stair. If less people sign up, then less people sign up, it's still better than having to do things alone and no harm done. But maybe we could remove the lineages that are finished from the first pages, to make space for new ones? I agree that we don't have to do two lineages per breed. Well maybe for halloween because there are two genders, but there isn't really a point doing more than one for valentines and christmas dragons is there? If we do just one line per gender, then people could be in the same lineage at least twice with their CB's, possibly one dragon early on and then another one later in the list. Halloween's not a problem since there aren't restrictions to the original batch of CB's so that would work just fine with the two lines. Maybe only have the most recent lineages on the front page, and then perhaps put the rest of them in a nice google doc for easy organization. I have the next two days off, so I might give this a go and see how it turns out... So maybe a good plan would be to let Valentine's finish up for this year, and then start catching up after that. I agree that only having one lineage per gender would be a good idea, and maybe with old holiday CBs available again more people will join. Posted February 25, 2018 Alright guys!! Hope you had some fun holidays! I started up with the spreadsheet, and it's a biggie but I'll get it done as soon as I can. While I'm doing that, I would love someone to jump at the naming and voting process for new lines! Here are the holiday dragons that don't have lineages yet: Christmas 2007 - Holly (!) Christmas 2016 - Snow Dragon Christmas 2017 - Garland Dragon Valentine's 2017 - Soulstone Dragon Valentine's 2018 - Floral-Crowned Dragon Halloween 2017 - Omen Wyrm I think the goal is to choose one mate for the Christmas and Valentine's lines, and then two mates for the Halloweens (one male, one female). Posted March 2, 2018 Okay, so I consolidated all the Lines into three posts, one for each holiday. now they should be easier to find. Next step will be to go through lines since last update and update them. If there's anyone that can remake the images for the mates, I'd really appreciate it. ETA: It wasn't until doing these did I realize that, besides the Pumpkin/Pygmy lines that were the same because they were the only type of pygmies at the time, we also doubled up on Embers too! I checked to make sure a replacement egg hadn't been bred for either line, I don't think one was. I will check over the next few days to see if anyone wants the eggs. I'm not as active as I once was.
