You mean the red glow? Ignore that for now.

I'm meaning the whole thing, I'm confuzzled O.o

@Steamrider Looking good, could do with some more contrst though ;D Head area looks rather flat

I will poke the shading, but I still fail to see the confuzzlement ;p.

I would like some critique on this please. smile.gif It's going for a pearl/abalone look.

Also, it's not a dragon but I need some critique still

any more critique?

Sill looks kinda flat, maybe this will help?

@Ashywolf

It's the wings that mainly confuse me O.o

@dragonfreak6132

Head looks to big for it's body and it has hangbut ohmy.gif

And it's missing a few layers of it's wings

That should help

Now with the male.

?

Wings shading still doesn't look completly right...

I think the light source is coming from the top left, but different parts of the body shading don't show that, EG the wing and the plate thing on it's belly

Aha. Now I can see what you mean. Confuzzlement will be solved shortly.

I have started spriting also,

made this with a little help from Albinsilver, whitefire and Miggeh :3

most of it were crits on it, but Albino had a little go on the high lights for me to show how it works :3

Noooow...

whitefire pointed out that the chest and tummy were a bit flat.

so I had a go at those and I also changed the spots (another point of crits from white :3)

I made these as a gift for Switch to celebrate about 1 year of egg-making, and I've become so attatched to them, I'm using one. On the fire one, the shading near the far horn got messed up when I put the Rayquaza on the fire. The colors look nice with it, but a shade or two were deleted. So crits on the first one please. I know the shading's a bit odd; I'm still new to this.

These are not half bad. Shading isn't as awful as you make out. Needs more contrast however, especially in the mouth/teeth. Assuming the pink spikes on the lower jaw are teeth. I still haven't worked this out.

@Steamrider.

Everything's really, really small and hard to define, like the (definetely) legs and body-torso area on the adult.

@UmbreWulf: well its a Pygmy, so its sopposed to be small. if enough other people say its too small, ill see about making it bigger

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but all the links under the Others bit in the original post are broken. >.>

The body needs to be longer I think. It seems really compressed. Neck needs to be a bit longer, as does the chest/belly region. If sprite size is an issue, then curve the tail up.

I think the far wing would benefit from being angled, actually.

I'm making my own avatar out of a sprite (which isn't something I do very much. I'm more adept at drawing). It's Shokomon, my own fan digimon. I made lines. Any criticisms? I feel like can do lines because of my drawing skills...but I'm not perfect...at all! Haha.

Some of the tears in the wings make it look like it shouldn't be able to fly :/

The first really big one is too big, there isn't enough skin in-between to cath the wind.

Wing webbing also needs to extended, it has hangbut right now

Basicly, shrink some of the tears, move the wing membrane down so it doesn't have hangbut.

How's this? Still want to keep a lot of the tears, as I really like the way they look. As such, I came up with an idea I posted in their thread so it makes sense.

Also, here's the male flats/lines. Only line differences between his lines and flats are the markings on the neck (redid them on the flats):
