Posted October 22, 2009 Well not sure if this was asked before since I didn't read the entire thread (pr even all of the first page, really. ) but can you post a lineage project you want to do before you have the eggs to do it? Like, say, someone has a female magi dragon and they still need a male, is it ok to just go ahead and post your lineage thread even if you don't have both starting dragons or even if you have an egg of one of those starting dragons but are unsure of the gender? Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) That's what I was going to do. I have the two eggs for my lineage project, but I don't know their gender, so I'm going to wait or I'm going to post the topic. When you find out, tell me. Edit: I started mine already, so I guess you can do yours, too. Edited October 26, 2009 by ditto101ditto101 Share this post Link to post
Posted October 25, 2009 This guide is really helpful, but I have a question. What are CB dragons? Are those dragons that don't have a lineage on them? Share this post Link to post

Posted October 26, 2009 Hello, I have a question about starting a lineage. If I just wanted to start a simple lineage without a bunch of rules, like the Dorkface lineage, would it only be taken seriously by others if I started out with a CB gold, or something similarly impressive? Or could I start with, say, a CB white/magi pairing and have something of the same effect? Not that my lineage is probably going to be anything more than a personal project to entertain myself, but I'm just wondering what people generally think about this. I kinda doubt I'll be getting a CB gold anytime soon... Share this post Link to post

In case you might've missed it, it's probably on the first or second part of the guide what is allowed of each lineage type. Edited October 27, 2009 by KazeKitsune Share this post Link to post
Posted October 29, 2009 Okay, So I've gotten my starting pair, picked out a name for the lineage, and made a banner, gotten a couple of my IRL friends interested. Now what? Share this post Link to post
Posted November 29, 2009 Okay, So I've gotten my starting pair, picked out a name for the lineage, and made a banner, gotten a couple of my IRL friends interested. Now what? At least you HAVE people interested, I made a banner and everything and the thing still isn't picking up. What'd I do wrong? Jeeze it really sucks when people with connections get the upper hand at everything. >_< Share this post Link to post
Posted January 26, 2010 I have never made a lineage before and how exactly do you make the lineage, what steps do you take to make a working lineage? Share this post Link to post
Posted January 26, 2010 I have never made a lineage before and how exactly do you make the lineage, what steps do you take to make a working lineage? The best way to do that is to try to get friends interested, make a banner and make a thread describing your idea in clear sentences. The rest is up to chance. Share this post Link to post
Posted January 26, 2010 The best way to do that is to try to get friends interested, make a banner and make a thread describing your idea in clear sentences. The rest is up to chance. Wrong! Other factors that can influence your succes are: - an interesting core subject or theme - a large base (a lot of people have access to the needed dragons to join the Lineage) - connections; there's nothing wrong with this, it's a normal social phenomenon that people with a larger social network have a larger chance of succeeding in their undertakings Share this post Link to post

Your basically repeated one thing I said and only added to what I said. You might want to try contradicting me before you pick a fight with me next time. Share this post Link to post
Posted January 29, 2010 Okay that will do. Both answers were correct replies to the question. Posting 'Wrong' before the reply was incorrect. Posting fewer details, does not make an answer wrong. Share this post Link to post
