I just logged a minute ago and I found my vampire hatchling has been fogged and I didn't even click on the "Hide" button. Is this a glitch?

I would suggest clearing your cache. It's a common thing for the fogging on eggs/hatchlings to be wonky when that is the issue. :3 If you look at your scroll while being logged out, ( as in a viewer, not the owner ) it will most likely not be fogged.

Wait, it...is fogged oO I just checked, the hatchling is fogged but its page is accessible.

Apart from that, it's unknown-gendered, can Vampires be unknown-gendered?

 

EDIT: It's also able to gain views. I think it isn't technically fogged but the image is in place because the hatchling is S2 but isn't male or female like Vampires are supposed to be, so my guess would be the site doesn't "know" which sprite to use for it and displays it as a cloud of fog.

I think you have a new glitchdragon, like Missingno o.O

 

You could PM TJ and ask for it to be assigned a gender if you want. Or you could probably ask to keep it like this if you want. It'd be interesting to see if it is capable of biting despiting being a fogball.

 

It's a very rare glitch. There's been one or two others like this, the most famous being Missingno. http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Glitch_Dragon

 

You might want to fog it for real because there will probably be a lot of people taking a peak at it. Keep an eye on it so it doesn't get sick.

 

e. I know it is a glitchdragon because I was able to view the viewpage directly, myself, which is impossible for non-owners with real fogged eggs.

 

e2. Hmm, Looks like you bit a Solstice dragon. At first some of them gendered 'unknown' instead of 'female'. My guess is that you vampire was one of those genderless solstices, but you bit the egg before TJ fixed the glitch. When he fixed it, he fixed it JUST for solstices, not any vampires that might have been originally solstices. So when your dragon gendered the thingie that indicates 'male' or 'female' or 'unknown' was set to 'unknown'. BUT since there's no 'unknown' sprite for vampires you got a fogball.

 

Anyway, definitely PM TJ about it.

I would say no, as Vampires sort with other Vampires rather than with their former breed (as do Neglecteds if I'm not mistaken). The only ones that would count as their former breed are Zombies.
