And that cute little bright pink hatchie looking at the black! Wish I start playing before they were being phased out/had been phased out (to this day I maintain that I saw a bright pink egg in the AP. I had known they were being removed so I tried grabbing it but missed. It was the last one I ever saw in the cave :c)

Maybe they had a lot of SWs already (I assume it was a SW) and figured a lineage like this on a vampire would be better? Or maybe they just wanted to shock people?
