Holiday Dragons will breed with anything without fail when in-season, but the moment they're out of season they go back to regular breeding rules. Even if they bred in-season, out-of-season they can reject.

Oh man. I thought that only occured with Holiday x Holiday pairings. It looks like I'll either have to look for a new mate for my Heartseeker or wait till February to try again. Oh well, thanks for the info.

So I spent six months working on a song lyrics lineage, only to realise that if I zoom out far enough to see the whole thing it's too small to read easily:

I was just coming here to post a screenshot of that, Sock! I'm not collecting Olives for the Holly thing, although I do need more for my scroll-goals, but I'm kind of waiting to do that since other people have a better reason to need them. I've never seen an all-Olive AP though, it's pretty!

my trade partners were having a hard time finding olives, so I did a mass breed (didn't think I had enough to make a wall)
