Do newbies usually start with their eggs off AP? Three of mine were from the cave. The fourth, a skywing, caught my attention on AP so I clicked on it to look at it and was surprised when it said I picked it up.

I abandoned the pink and picked up the Water... The Mint (a male) got frozen as a hatchie of picking up a Vine hatchie, which I've decided was a dumb move because out of the five unfrozen gendered dragons I currently have, only the Skywing gendered male.

I think my first four eggs were Skywing, Purple, Pink, and Dark Green (non-Alt, back when there were Alt eggs). But I didn't know about views and such, so they got down to a day left without hatching, and I abandoned them all.

 

Then I found the forum, learned about the fansites, and adopted a Stone egg. She grew into SleepingStone, my favorite dragon, who has given me three Geode eggs.
