Posted November 16, 2017 Is it ok for me to ask for lineage advice here? I need help from the German/German speaking folks please. I'm trying to build a mate for Huch ist das kalt heute Which one would you take: bbrrh or AARRG ? I do speak some German myself but I'm not sure which "wording" would be better. Posted November 16, 2017 (edited) The Water one. AARRG is more for a cry of frustration (though you might probably also yell that when you stumble into a cold puddle). Edited November 16, 2017 by Ruby Eyes Share this post Link to post
Posted November 16, 2017 I would also go with the Water one. It reminds me about the summer when you want to go swimming in a refreshing lake after lying in the sun for hours... It's more like brrrr than argh Share this post Link to post

Posted November 16, 2017 Thank you for your advice Ruby and Rinoa. So the Water it is. Amazon_warrior, I dont know if I should speak of "building lineages". I just cant resist when I find 2nd gen code babies on the AP. And sometimes by miracle I get the pieces for a mate together. But I never made it farther than 3rd gen. But thank you very much for your offer! And congrats on that codes. Most of them are actual real words, yes? Share this post Link to post

Yes, except "wiene" which is short for "wie eine" = "like a" (where "a" would be the feminine form) I just found a White "kkind" (caps messed), a word for both English and German Share this post Link to post

I saw Wien(e) there. As in Vienna? Congrats on your kind! And yet another question for the experts here: Who uses spreadsheets and who uses groups to keep track? I started to record my stuff with a chart but then I forget to add new dragons most of the time. Now I tried a group but then I have difficulties when searching for a code I think I have/might have somewhere. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 16, 2017 I also just found a Tri-Horn "hurrg" which is also a sound humans would make (e.g. when lifting heavy stuff) that would go with "arrgg" (dropped heavy stuff on foot) Want it? Share this post Link to post

I know a little German but am a very long way from being a native speaker! @Zimtie - Well, if you'd like any babies, just let me know I use groups now to "store" my code dragons, and they also have a designated area on my scroll. I do have to be very conscientious about adding them to the right group(s) as they're growing, though, or there's a risk I'll forget, sort them into my scroll area and forget they're there.... I started to record my stuff with a chart but then I forget to add new dragons most of the time. Now I tried a group but then I have difficulties when searching for a code I think I have/might have somewhere. I use a single group. I have a rough idea what kind of codes I have, and when hunting, I mostly know if I have an obvious breeding partner. If so, I influence the egg to match that. The browser's search function is all I need to search the group for specific code (or parts of it). I have about a dozen codes waiting that need specific partners. The more often you look up your dragons to partner them up the easier it gets to recall. Before groups, I just browsed the "Unnamed hatchlings/adults" section, which is mostly identical to the code group because I name almost all of the other dragons. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 16, 2017 I have this Red Crimson that was unlucky enough to receive a code that is the first name of a mass-murderer.⚠️ Share this post Link to post
