I have an alt black with the code 0hds (not correct caps) I would name him Nintendo or something like that but he's part of a lineage (:

 

And one of my female sunrises has the code ObZW. The O and the Z really stood out to me, so her name is Goddess of Oz. ^-^

Named a winter with the code LOSS "Winter's Loss" and I have another winter with the code LEEt which is still unnamed, and might leave it like that.

I also named a Magma dragon Ruinear, which is Quenya for "Sea of Fire." His code is SEAs.

nearly ALL of my dragons are named based off of their codes.. simply because i have such a hard time coming up with names, i use their codes for ideas

When I'm poking at my baby dragons and obsessing over them, waiting for them to grow, I refer to them by their codes, and because spelling out the whole code each time I say/think it is too long, I find myself automatically trying to pronounce the code as if it were a word. If the word ends up sounding cool, I keep it as a name. This leads to some very strangely spelled names, since when I'm muttering to myself trying to pronounce a string of letters and numbers I often end up using sounds that don't really appear in English words. I have a vamp whose name includes a drawn-out buzzing, because her code had more than one Z. My latest code-named dragon is Haquoi (hQ0i).
