Posted May 13, 2023 (edited) I was surprised that I haven't found a topic for the ESC (or I was just too stupid to use the search function properly). Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurovision_Song_Contest In short - the ESC is arguably the biggest song contest world-wide which is organised by the European Broadcasting Union every year since 1956. Several dozen European countries plus Australia are taking place this year with a wild mixture of songs, styles, and artists in a most cheesy, campy, glamorous and fun way. In 2023, it is held in Liverpool/UK who hosts the event on behalf of Ukraine who won the last ESC2022, but who unfortunately couldn't host it safely due to the horrible war that is currently taking place on its territory. The ESC2023 final will start right now - so is anyone else watching it? Posted November 4, 2023 I must confess, I didn't watch the Eurovision Song Contest because I don't have the stamina to endure 4 hours of singing, but it's a big thing in Europe.
