Do I have to trade and teleport the egg or the hatchling, to get the orange color?

Cantormaris only change colors when they're still an egg. The color will correspond to the most recent color-changing BSA performed on the egg.

 

If you want an orange Cantormaris, you need to teleport the egg and then do not perform any other color-changing BSAs on that egg until it hatches.
