What: The purpose of this thread is to breed BSAs and drop them to the AP. Why: BSAs (Breed Specific Actions) are dragons with special abilities like Influence, Fertility, and Incubate that are helpful to many players. Especially as the holidays and new releases approach. Let's help each other by breeding BSA eggs. ❤️ When: Ongoing. While we will have an informal schedule for those who prefer a schedule, you don't have to follow it. Breed whatever you like on any day! Informal Schedule: (Or, just breed what you like whenever!) Monday - Wednesday: Aeon, Bolt, Green, Magi, Pink, Purple, Red, White Thursday: Trio eggs: Ice, Magma, Thunder Friday: Free for all! All BSAs. Saturday: Shallow Water, Sophrosyne, Zyu, Vampires Sunday: Free for all! All BSAs. If you wish, you can announce here when you have bred and abandoned them. Breeds: Aeon Bolt Green Magi Pink Purple Red White Other useful BSAs: Ice Magma Thunder Shallow Water Sophrosyne Vampires Zyu Lineages: Purebred, messy, even generation, stairstep, spiral, or any other lineage you wish to concoct. I often find myself forgetting to breed my BSAs. And I suspect other people do as well. I remember when breeding BSAs was a fairly regular thing around here. It was part of DC culture. These days, we have a lot of newcomers and older players returning who are playing catch up on collecting newer breeds. Hoping to bring back this part of DC culture. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 13, 2021 This is an awesome idea! I try to breed some BSAs to the AP whenever I remember, but I'm not what I would call a 'dedicated breeder' and often forget completely. Having a thread like this may help people like me actually remember to breed, and will hopefully make BSA breeds a little easier to find in the AP! Share this post Link to post

Posted September 13, 2021 (edited) Released a smattering of BSA's! 30 breeding attempts resulted in 12 BSA's (and 7 BSA-fails) to the AP. Also, I noticed Vamps are not on the list? Hi BringsTheSnow, although Vamps aren’t “officially” on the list because they aren’t a breedable BSA, sure, if you want to bite some Vampy eggs and toss them in the AP, feel free to post them here! Thank you! Would it be possible, for the “egg cycler banner,” for you to make a second version of it with only these breeds in it: Red, Aeon, Magi, Green, White, Bolt, Purple, Pink? That way, it would match up with the “primary BSA banner” Then we would have two “egg cycle banners” for people to choose from! ❤️ I love these so much! Posted September 17, 2021 (edited) Since it’s Thursday “Trio Day,” I decided to try to breed some Trios. I managed one Thunder My other dragons were "not interested." I would have used some Purples and created some new pairs, but I’m running kind of low on Purples after the recent Halloween-kin breeding event. Posted September 19, 2021 I bred five Shallow Water Dragons, two Pink Zyus, two Yellow Zyus, and one Sophrosyne. All were even generations. I am limited in creating new pairs right now due to being low on Purples. Dropped all to the AP a short while ago. Every little bit helps, I guess! I thought about biting some Vampires for you Vampire fiends, but I don’t want to take up any kill slots on my scroll right now. 😬 Share this post Link to post

Posted September 23, 2021 (edited) Dropped earlier today: 5 Green Dragons, 3 Geodes, 3 Frosts 3 Bolts, no Aeons 11 Pinks 5 Magis I'm not done. There should be more Magis, Pinks, Purples, Reds and Whites throughout the afternoon and evening.
