I just recently joined Dragon Cave and it seems pretty cool.

Not sure of I'm allowed to ask a question here, but is there a way to change your profile avatar?

Hello and welcome! You can change your avatar now that you're approved: just select your name under the site header, then from the dropdown select Profile. Select the thumbnail icon for your blank avatar image and you'll get the option to set a new picture.
