Should Xenowyrms create other types of Xenowyrms?

For context:

A few weeks ago I managed to grow some Xenowyrms (Pharos), and when breeding them, they produced a Ke'maro one.

 

At first I thought of making a post asking about it, but as I have never seen a pure Xenowyrm linage, and they are cheap (I think it's to make them easier to get or something) in the market, I thought"this might be some sort of feature". But I guess is not the case
