Hello and welcome! Let me introduce you to my Dragon Cave crash course!

 

1. Your dragons need views to hatch and grow up. Clicks are nice to have since they're worth a lot of views, but it's possible for dragons to grow up without them. 

 

2. You can add your dragons to fansites in order to get them views. Here is the list of fansites you can choose from. I use three: Valley Sherwood, Allure of Neglected Dragons, and Silvi's Lair. You don't need to use too many, it just depends on how much traffic they get. You can mix and match until you find an amount that works for you.

 

3. Don't add dragons to fansites if they're too young, since if dragons get too many views too fast, it increases the chance of them getting sick (softshell) and dying. I wait until 6d12h left before I add mine.

 

4. No matter how many views your dragons have, they won't hatch/grow up until they're at at least 4d left. 

 

You can most certainly get dragons for free, check out the DC Community Notice Board thread! We have many generous members who give away eggs for free; you should also check out the rest of the Trading subforum for other gifting threads you can take advantage of.
