ANSWERED:xeno bug?

ok so quick question, how is this possible? It it a bug?

neither of those dragons have Astrapi Xeno in their lineage, and I don't have one on m scroll

I'll take it, i just don't know if the game is glitching or something.

Not a glitch. They do all sorts:

 

Breeding

Breeding patterns have been confirmed by Birdzgoboom, being based on biomes, and are as follows:

Situation 1: Xeno x Non-Xeno (regular biome):
Outcome 1: the Xeno breeds its same variation
Outcome 2: you get an egg from the Non-Xeno breed
Outcome 3: you get the Xeno corresponding to the Non-Xeno's biome

Situation 2: Xeno x Non-Xeno (Cave):
Outcome 1: the Xeno breeds its same variation
Outcome 2: you get an egg from the Non-Xeno breed
Outcome 3: you get a random egg from the other 5 Xeno variations

Situation 3: Xeno x Xeno:
Outcome 1: They have a chance to breed the Xeno variation from parent A
Outcome 2: They have a chance to breed the Xeno variation from parent B
Outcome 3: They have a smaller chance to breed one of the other 4 (or 5 if both parents are the same variation) Xeno variations.

 

 

You hit one of the  first two options, is all.

I do believe xenos can throw alternate colors based on the other parents biome, and if Cave biome, it can throw any color.

Q: What are the mechanics of xenowyrm breeding?

A: A pair with a xeno parent can breed: an egg of a non-xeno parent, a xeno like one of the xeno parent/s, a xeno based off the biome of a non-xeno parent (ie a volcanic parent can produce a pyro xenowyrm), or a random xenowyrm (when purebreeding or breeding to a dragon without a specific biome location, ie its biome is listed as "cave").

 

It depends on the other mate as well. But there's a chance of it being random (as said above from @/fuzzbucket)
