This. Very much this. See, today is what I call "Onsie Weather". It's where it's chilly and gloomy, so I put on one of my soft, warm adult sized onsies, curl up in a blanket with some hot tea/coffee/cider, and just chill in my chair watching movies, reading, and/or nap. But NOOOOOOO, I need groceries, and the car needs cleaned out before it goes to the machanics, and bathrooms need cleaned, and we need clean clothes for work this weekend, and trash needs taken out, AND I should pull something to thaw for dinner. To be fair I have my partner to help but he is unmotivated to so i will have to get the ball rolling at some point and I just. don't. WANNA. Posted October 28, 2021 well, i got up and went to work today, so there's that. the next day i have off (between my two jobs) is November 5 and 6, because we're heading across the state to see the show my younger daughter is stage managing at her college (she's a junior). then i have off thanksgiving. but my adulting is generally going to work pretty much every day, and taking care of the groceries and stuff. does feeding the cats and doing their boxes count as adulting too? Man I wish I could work from home! (I work production in a plant that makes Purell/soap) I could get so much more done around here without cramming it all into 1-2 days. Ok, I made a deal with myself: One more episode of 'Supernatural' on Netflix, that should put me at noon, and I can go and get started on my things and have all the errands done before it gets dark and can take the rest of the night to play FF14 and/or watch more 'Supernatural'. Floors have been swept, bathrooms are clean, Bedding has been stripped and changed/bed remade, laundry is in the dryer, trash has been gathered and taken out. My partner is in charge of cleaning the car out, taking it to the mechanic, and cleaning cat boxes. I took a shower when I got up, so that's done already. We'll tag team the grocery shopping when he gets back from the mechanic. All I need to do is check/pay bills and I am done until he gets back. I'll fold the laundry when the last load in the dryer is done. And eat. I should definitely eat and hydrate...but literally 99% of it all is done so I feel another episode of my show is in order.
