Posted June 16, 2021 Most of my Floret breedings have been giving me pink/peach Alstros. My son-in-law worked from "home" at our house today. He always has worked from home -- not just a pandemic thing. But the storm last night brought down a big branch of their neighbors' tree that took out their internet. So he came here to borrow our wi-fi. Share this post Link to post

Had a lovely walk with my friends this morning in a park that has a shoreline on the Chesapeake Bay. Most of it is rip rap and no swimming or wading allowed, but it is still a lovely view. They do, however, have a dog beach! It seemed to be a popular spot as we saw quite a few dogs headed that way. Supposedly it is one of the few on the East Coast. Who knew? And I was moderately successful at keeping people out, and not stressing about it, mainly because someone else was on the gate and I was in the back room, away from the customers, pricing. I took my umbrella with me today, and it worked! No rain! Share this post Link to post

I agree, buying houses is hard, especially when you don't know what next year will entail and you also want to buy a car 😢 Share this post Link to post

There's nowhere inside to leave them so the boxes are on the front steps of the shop under a tarp. I do hope it stays dry tonight as it's mostly books. My cats downed one of the doves today. Posted June 18, 2021 Why are we all having to adult at the same time? What happened? Share this post Link to post
Posted June 18, 2021 A virus claimed the world and now we all have to re-adult our old-adult which is leaving us with more stupid adulting. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 18, 2021 But I never knew how to adult to begin with! I missed that day at school 😧 Share this post Link to post
