Posted March 8, 2020 (edited) Does crossbreeding between different species lower the value of that certian dragon?? 😕 (For both hatchling and parents I mean) Edited March 9, 2020 by CryptidUni Share this post Link to post
Posted March 8, 2020 I'm not sure what you mean by crossbreeding. If you mean breeding it with a related dragon, then yes, it is generally called inbreeding here on the forum and does make the trade value of the dragon very low. It does not in any way affect the health of the dragon, but people just don't like it. Â Â Share this post Link to post
Posted March 8, 2020 (edited) Value is in the eye of the beholder. Loads of us breed lineages - checkers especially - where there is more than one breed - things like this:  https://dragcave.net/lineage/f5MUC  I would be delighted to find a 4th gen checkered mate for that; I'd like it MUCH better than https://dragcave.net/lineage/WfCgZ  so that would be more valuable to me than the purebred. It is all in what someone else wants.  And nothing "lowers the value" of a caveborn dragon - not whatever you breed it to. It doesn't lose value just because it was bred to something else.  Now you will find that most people will not be thrilled to find something like this: https://dragcave.net/lineage/FUuxK - but again, there is at least one person here who would love it.  I think I am being ninjjaed... Posted March 9, 2020 (edited) @purplehaze Oops, sorry for being unclear. I mean like breeding between different species of dragons. Edit: WTH I didn’t know you could inbreed dragons here?!? 🤣🤣 Edited March 9, 2020 by CryptidUni Share this post Link to post
