Welcome back for another round of the DC Photography contest, come and show us what you've got! 

 

 

This time, the theme is: Aftermath

 

 

Submission deadline: March 07

 

 

Voting deadline:  March 21

 

Rules:

- One entry per person.

- Picture has to be made by yourself and can't be just a reproduction of someone's work. If someone else's work is in the picture, there needs to be something extra.

- No manipulation besides basic photo adjustments (contrast, exposure, cropping, color balance, lighting, etc.).

- No text or framing in the photo. A signature/watermark is just fine, but it's preferable if you don't have "O Hai Eye Hav3 T3XT" (or something similar) present in the photo.

- When voting, please don't select your own image. This will ensure fairness.

- You are free to submit an old photo; you don't need to take a new one just for this competition.

- Winner hosts the next contest.

This image was taken in October 2013, in Kinglake, Victoria, Australia. The fire behind it took place on  7 February 2009. 120 people died, and 1,242 homes were destroyed. 7th February 2009 is still known as Black Saturday, and the aftermath is still horribly visible. Topical, I think

This was taken recently--the plastic aftermath of one of my Zoids model kit builds! The finished model standing proudly surrounded by the parts sheets. Whew! Always a fun cleanup afterwards haha!

@BrazenChase I haven't seen those in forever! I still have some of mine, wish they still made those, I need to watch that show again.

 

I'll submit this one for now, the aftermath of putting my then collection of pokeplushies in one place. It's probably doubled since I took this picture

Your collection is amazing! I have the same Growlithe plush, myself! It's one of my favorites ;w; 

 

I wish they'd release Zoids in North America again, I always have to order mine from Japan. The shipping is so expensive so they're a rare treat for me. Watching Chaotic Century and New Century Zero was a blast, I should do a re-watch too! xD

This picture was taken at Kathmandu, Nepal. It was taken at 2018 but it is aftermath of 2014 Nepal earthquake. They added some support structure to preventing another collapse.

 

 

Zoids series is currently releasing in this place

Chaotic Century was my favorite, I loved Irvine and Moonbay. I forget the name of the one with Bit and Lena and Brad in it but Brad was my other favorite character.
