Posted February 22, 2020 I bred a Yulebuck egg and abandoned it. this week, I found an ER Heartseeker, descended from my baby. In the meantime, between catch and hatch, the mother of the Heartseeker was killed, but I just found it odd that this random egg was descended from my dragons.I must be on this site too long. Lineage of the mother, killed today: https://dragcave.net/lineage/WfJCy My baboo: https://dragcave.net/view/b0ezL Share this post Link to post
Posted February 22, 2020 (edited) That's an amazing catch, I'd say. Must be rewarding to see the descendants from your dragon's offspring ten years ago still being bred somewhere on the site. 🙂 It's a shame the mother dragon got killed, though. So - here's to ten years more ! Edited February 22, 2020 by Lantean_Pegasus Share this post Link to post
Posted March 11, 2020 Lol, reminds me of something I once did. In 2011, I found a 2nd gen Val '09 in the AP. I continued the lineage. Years later, I sent the owner of my first egg's parents a 6th gen checker back. Also, there's that person who gifted my daughter her first holly in 2010 - back when hollies were still a very hot commodity. My daughter, in turn, gifted me the first holly offspring one year later. I continued the line every year. (It's a male-male-female spiral with skywings.) I think it was last year when I showed off my latest baby to the person who gifted my daughter way back when. Both parent owners were rather pleased to see what their gift/AP gift sparked. Share this post Link to post
Posted April 23, 2020 That's wild luck, yet kind of a nice thing? The closest thing that happened to me by random chance was when I nabbed a Black Marrow, and then 3 years later I another from the same parents, its sibling. Share this post Link to post
