Posted February 11, 2020 So I been looking at my Encyclopedia and I have found it does not register any of the eggs that I had before. It's like it is not reading that I have dragons in my scroll and is only reading if I have clicked on them within the year. I did come back from a long time of absence but its saying I have no adult dragons of some of the breeds when I have a bunch within my scroll. I don't care if it doesn't read that they grew up within my scroll but I would at least think it could read that I have the adults still. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 11, 2020 This is the way the encyclopedia is designed. Every user has to either breed or click on dragons to unlock. Anything you had prior to it existing will not be counted. However, you can view your own dragons once every 30 days to unlock sprites/info. It was done this way so every member was equal. We all had to unlock things the hard way regardless of how long we had been here or how many dragons were on our scrolls. Share this post Link to post

Then would be a good way to do it was once the dragon is unlocked, it would read your scroll for that dragon? One of the ones I do have unlocked still does not show how many dragons I have of that breed. I know it may be a little extra on the code side, but it would be fair and still show you have them. The encyclopedia isn't really meant to keep track of how many dragons you have of the breeds. The 'owned/raised' numbers are cumulative starting when the Encyclpedia was introduced. It won't count anything before that, but it also *does* count any eggs you pick up regardless of if you keep them, any hatchlings/adults that have been on your scroll even if you don't keep them, etc. So it's really not a good way to keep track of what you actually have. Think of it more like a basic knowledge encyclopedia, with info about the breeds, not a personal counter. Share this post Link to post

I am curious a little as to why we are going all out with the different elements aspect as well. Will there be things later on that may have reasoning or is it just for the lore aspect of the dragons? Share this post Link to post
Posted February 13, 2020 A few dragons breed differently based on element (the Avatars and Pyralspites), and I think there’s been a couple other minor things based on element as well, but mostly it’s just flavor. Share this post Link to post
