Need some help with phone and Gingerbread House

Hi folks,

 

For some reason I am having a heck of a time getting my phone (an iPhone) to play the Gingerbread House game.  The similar games such as the Tree Decorating and the Wreath Decorating also drop pieces in the upper lefthand corner, which was a bit of a challenge, but able to be overcome.

 

However, with the Gingerbread House, the pieces sit squarely on the left "undo" button and try as I might, I cannot get them to move off that button. They keep disappearing. 

 

I can get around the issue by playing on a web browser; however, I often would rather play on my phone. 

 

Any advice? Thanks in advance!
