Wow what a lovely surprise this Christmas!! I love the sound of being able to play past Christmas events. Oh I think of that one a few years back, Valkyrian Tales? XD Dragon Cave sure are the best at these events and everything really~

Yes but you have to be patient.  There are 17 basic ingredients that can drop at random, plus 73 different recipes that can appear if you have not discovered them yet.

They appear only once, so you should not worry too much about that. If you discover new recipes on your own, you can increase your chances of getting fresh ingredients instead of recipes.

I just keep getting lots pf recipes, milk and a few cocoa beans.  I just figured I was timing my check ups wrong.  I still think that is part of it. Is butter one of the ingredients or do we have to make it from milk somehow?

Congrats to birdz on the release! I'm super excited for the new Holiday dragon; birdz' sprites are gorgeous in general, and the hatchling's colours look beautiful! Loving the subdued shades in particular, they remind me of antique Xmas cards.

I still haven't gotten any herbs. I've made all the recipes I can and collected a lot of 'red star' recipes, but no herbs. Plenty of sugar though I'm out now. How random is the generation?

I suspect Sweetlings have found their way into my pantry; at this rate sugar and fruit is going to go at the price of a golden dragon egg in the markets of Valkemare.
