ANSWERED:Need to burn my old scrolls?

I can't find a button to deactivate old accounts. But I think I've heard of burning them? Who would I PM to do so?

PM TJ09 about burning an old scroll. Unfortunately there is no delete button for players.

 

And yep, you can PM people! If you're on desktop, click the envelope in the upper right corner -> Compose New. If you're on mobile, click the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner -> envelope -> Compose New.

If you actually have several old accounts, just put the names of all of them in here - I'm sure it'll be taken care of very quickly, as playing on multiple accounts is against the rules and considered cheating.

@olympe Oh I messaged TJ the names already  and yeah I've been messing around on them maybe a month and I also JUST joined the forum and read that it was cheating to have more than one (which my dumb butt didnt even realize because I didnt think DC was competitive, dumb right?) but in case it helps

It was my bad as I kept forgetting the passwords (Which I just recovered last month) but hey, now I know and I've never been one to intentionally break rules so here we are. I did already release all my dragons off of them too. Thank you for the help 😊

 

Also since I keep seeing the term "scripter"..can someone tell me what the heck that is? Judging from the forum it sounds evil so I'm really curious lol

Scripting is writing a program that does your hunting for you. Obviously way faster than a person. Therefor, again obviously, not allowed.

Why would anyone wanna use DC like that I wonder..its more fun to hunt eggs down. If it's just easy to collect whatever eggs then what's the point?

@Trystenjade My earlier comment was meant to be somewhere between sarcastic and a little snarky, I didn't mean for you to take it literally. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

 

About scripting: If all you ever get is the very occasional uncommon, but with scripts, you manage to literally fill your scroll with CB golds which you can then trade for whatever your heart desires - like 2nd gen Prizes/Prizekin/Spriter's Alt offspring... Well, you can see where this is going, and why cheating is attractive to some people. Same goes for multi-scrollers - the more scrolls you have, the better your chances as catching the "good" stuff because there are simply more egg slots. Not to mention that you have a better chance of winning the raffle for one of the rarest dragons DC has to offer.

Huh, never thought about it that way. I guess that would be an unfair advantage. And scripters sound straight up annoying. Don't worry though, you didn't seem mean or anything and I've been described a smart (books and general knowledge) but also ditsy so sometimes things go right over my head and I misinterpret sarcasm for legitimacy, so don't feel bad. 😅 Its partially a mom thing I think. (The pregnancy brain never went away) hence why I make silly mistakes that seemingly everyone else wouldn't make.
