BSA Suggestion- Bodyguard/Escort

I actually don't see any harm in being able to Guard/Escort an egg multiple times in a row, granted that the first 24hrs has passed. Obviously you'd need multiple Guardians for that, but it's not going to break anything or give anyone an unfair advantage if they wanted to prevent views on an egg several days in a row without using Fog.

I am personally a fan of this one.

That way you have the option of multiple Guard/Escorts as needed for a valuable egg that you're paranoid about the safety of, and only using one Guard/Escort for a less-valuable egg that you're not as fussed over.

And you still need to use multiple Guardian dragons to begin with, to have anything more than just one Guard/Escort for one egg.

With it being 24 hours per use, then I think the cooldown of one week would work well if it started from the initial use of the BSA. :)

I really don't see anything wrong with this suggestion for sure. I'd love to have it as a BSA and then have a reason to collect a lot of guardian dragons of my own. :) It always seemed unfair they didn't have a proper BSA due to their natural guarding abilities after all!

I like the idea of giving the lovely old Guardians something to do; they used to be one of my favorites some years back.  On the other hand, I would have to oppose anything that's apt to slow down trade in the Hub.

When you put an egg up for trade, it's your egg and you just need  to go and take it out of the click sites you put it in. If it's one you pulled from the AP, it's still your responsibility to look after it's well being in this way. It's really no different than keeping it on your scroll. But realistically, you are not likely to do these things because you are both trying to get rid of it and trying to get it to hatch at the same time. Except in very rare cases, you want to keep your game moving forward and taking it out of fan sites would prevent that from happening.

Frankly, I'm very much concerned about the recipient of the trade running into trouble with an egg having too many views. This person will have made an offer in good faith only to have it destroyed before they are aware they even own it.  I think that this is the side of the trade that really needs protection and that should be an inherent part of the trading process independent of the actions of the seller.

Edit:  To fix something I seem to have deleted from my original comments before I posted them,

I don't usually put an egg into hatcheries if I'm planning to trade it. The danger is when someone sees an egg in the Hub and decides to viewbomb it. That's what the BSA would protect against.

I very much agree with this (I have had a trade offer up for DAYS now, and am annoyed....)

I will agree with not allowing multiple as well as the last thing we need is to make it easier to "sit on" an offer for a long time. While viewbombing is a problem, making it so that they can leave offers for longer easier is not a good thing due to the inability to offer that thing on other trades.

I like this more than other trade-based suggestions but I agree that allowing multiple is too generous.

I think it should only be allowed for eggs in trade. That would get around any "misuse". Cancel the trade and you get the bodyguarding Guardian back to use - as you do with teleport.

Yes, if it's not in trade you can just fog it, so there would be no need for the BSA. This would be for eggs and hatchlings that are in trade and can't be fogged.

Bumping because it happened again. None of my other growing things were affected. Only the egg that I had up for trade got viewbombed.
