ANSWERED:Adding to multiple groups fails

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

It suddenly seems to be impossible to add a dragon to multiple groups. If I check a group, it unchecks the other group. I have a few I need to take OUT of some groups - and I daren't in case they leave their secondary groups too....

Help me ?

ETA I seem to be able to add to two groups but not more than that....

Oh yikes! This is a horrible bug! Well at least I sure hope it's a bug. Guess I won't be doing any organizing right now!

Me neither. Scary stuff. A few of mine have actually fallen out of their groups.... unless I am stupider than I think.

It seems to work for me, but I'm on mobile right now.

It works differently as instead of the dropdown menu, it sends you to a new page.

You can do the same thing on desktop by right clicking the Add group link and opening it in a new tab.

See if it works then.

That will tell us if it's just the dropdown menu or the entire adding mechanic.

I'm trying to add new things to an existing group....

But I see what you mean - that might help....

And yes, that does seem to work - so it's the dropdown that has issues. Thanks.

Wait do you mean through the dragon page or through the group itself, because I did the following on mobile:

  1. Clicked on the group icon (highlighted): 633421410_Capture_2019-05-25-13-04-35.thumb.png.c282f4f8c53842d77c93a7b127de7620.png
  2. Got taken to a different page to ads groups: 774106312_Capture_2019-05-25-13-05-07.thumb.png.b4721724a5e17d11e992e04776b98d9b.png

Were you doing something else?

I was using the dropdown on the dragon's page (I'm on a PC)

Picks random ungrouped dragon JUST in case...:

And every time you check one box, another unchecks. Your way works GREAT. But what I have to do to get that new page is right click on "Add to group" and select "open in new tab."

So then, it's just the dropdown menu that is causing issues.

Seems to be. And it IS quicker than having to open a new tab. But at least I CAN carry on grouping !

Now that I'm on my computer, I checked with one of the waters I have, and that dropdown menu error is cropping up for me too.

I tried holding Ctrl while I clicked the box to see if it would help, but it didn't.

It didn't seem to affect the Prize I had already selected groups for, but I didn't want to clear them all just to see if that would trigger it.

Also, sending the Add to Group to another tab still works normally on the computer as it does on the phone.

Looks like the dropdown menu is broke.

Edit: Make sure to press "Save" at the bottom of the page. It doesn't save your groups automatically like the dropdown menu does.
