Posted May 9, 2019 (edited) On another forum I'm on, we used to be able to hide subforums/threads/topics we aren't interested in (here, in my case, perhaps video games.. !) That forum just switched to invision. My hidden sub forums there are still hidden - but I can't see a way to add to them - on the other hand I assume if they are hidden after the transfer, there has to be that facility within invision. @TJ09 - is there such a facility here and where can we find it ? and if it isn't enabled here, please can it be ? Posted May 13, 2019 I'm not really sure this is a thing that needs to be incorporated. I don't use a vast majority of the forums honestly - trading and RP I've never even set foot in, so I just don't click on them. They'll always be there in case I decide I want to, but I'm not obligated to ever open them up and they don't get in the way, so I don't see why there should be an option to hide them honestly? I mean, I'm not opposed to the idea for those who want it, I just don't get it Share this post Link to post
Posted May 15, 2019 I'm not aware of any setting in the forum software (or any other forum software I've used, for that matter) that would allow ignoring entire sections. If it does exist, I doubt I'd have turned it off. Share this post Link to post
Posted May 15, 2019 Oh well. It isn't actually something I want here, nor is it really needed, I agree - but on the other forum I'm on it would be REALLY useful, as there are so many in various areas of interest, in some of which I am - not interested ! Others would also like to be able to ignore some of them, and as the ones I had set to be ignored before the switch to invision are still ignored, I thought perhaps... Thanks, TJ - answered.
