There will be breeding fails, like wrong breed, no egg, no interest, mistakes like no fertility or wrong/no influence used ... also, incubate management. Basically, there's some strategy involved. Well, like Ruby says there are many other things that could affect how fast a lineage might progress. And I honestly don't know how to be any fairer.
