Egg caught but didn’t “click”

Recommended Posts

It’s happened more than once.

I’ll be hunting in the cave for a second via my iPhone 6s.

Ill turn the phone off without exciting dragcave via google chrome. No fingers are touching the screen while I do this. No fingers near the egg.

However long later, I’ll unlock my phone and it’ll open straight to the webbrowser with dragcave still open.

AND THEN WAM. No loading screen. It’ll just open to a randomly caught egg that I never actually caught.

I'd say - always close the cave page when you  switch your phone off....  I actually close my browsers as well, when I switch off my tablet.

It's a Chrome thing. Chrome has a setting where it will try to anticipate what you are going to do next, in order to speed up browsing. Sometimes it thinks you will want to click an egg, so it will click it for you.  I don't know where to find it on your phone, but under Settings for Chrome, if you can find a thing called "Prediction Services" and turn it off, it should stop clicking eggs for you.
