Posted November 25, 2018 I see lots of times on the trades page that people often ask specifically for a CB egg/hatchling. Does being CB make an egg/hatchling any better than a non-CB one? Share this post Link to post
Posted November 25, 2018 For a lot of breeds it's harder to find one CB in the caves than to breed one, so in a sense they have more 'value' because of that. Also many people (myself included) have goals which specify CB because a) it's tidy and/or b) it's a bit more challenging. And to start making new lineages you of course need CB dragons But there's no inherent benefit of having a CB dragon in most cases - it's just a common user preference. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 25, 2018 Some breeds are harder to get as CB than as bred. In addition, CBs are pretty much freah building blocks for lineages that nean you don't have to trade for a 2g egg when you can breed it. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 25, 2018 Basically, they are a clean slate. CB dragons don't have 'lineages' so to speak, they don't have any ancestors showing, no mother/father or anything. Which means they don't have what many consider 'messy' lineages, and they aren't inbred, both of which many people don't like. CBs are often used to start specific lineages, because people want to make pretty lineages but unless you find the exact one you want already started, you have to start 'from scratch'. Here is a good thread with examples of different types of lineages people can make, and they all require CBs to start: Share this post Link to post
