a BSA to cool down other BSA

I've been thinking about this for awhile and I don't know if it was ever sugested, but I'd like a dragon that has the BSA to reduce once the cooldown time for another BSA.

I think a cold/ice/snow dragon would suit best because of wording 'cool'.

I mean, sometimes you just need that aeon that has 2 days left of cd to peer now, or that red incubator, or pink influencer...

I think 2 days reduced would be the best time.

I personally don't like the idea of BSAs that exist purely to affect other BSAs, especially when that effect is getting around the cooldown time.

 

But, regardless, a BSA should have logic/lore on it's side. Despite the term 'cooldown', cooldowns have nothing to do with actual temperature. I don't think we get in-game explanations for why cooldowns exist, but it's reasonable to assume that using the BSA magic wears the dragon out or depletes their magic, so they need time to recharge and rest. In that case, a 'cool' dragon wouldn't be useful. I think the best bet would be some sort of energetic dragon, or even a healer dragon, to help the BSA dragon recover faster.

I am really not in favor of this. If you need more influences or more precogs, or whatever, you can easily enough collect more of the appropriate dragon to build up an "army" so you don't run out. I know I ran out of Aeons with the holiday wall this year, and I will be sure to breed myself more before the next holiday hits!

Very true. And the majority of BSA dragons, except for Aeons, are fairly common and easy to get. Or trade for. And in my experience Reds and Pinks breed fairly well, too.

The problem with this is that there's only two breeds for which it would make sense to have a BSA like this: Aeons, which already have a BSA, and Chrono Xenowyrms, which are too rare for a useful BSA.

While true you cancollect more of most dragons, you can't collect more trios to use Summon more often. Summon is unaffected by how many you have.
But, once you have 3 GoNs you can never use it again, so then the usefulness of a BSA that cools that BSA down faster then loses all purpose.

Not true.  the more full sets you have, the higher the odds of it succeeding.

The only BSA for which I'd like a shorter cooldown is Corporealize Ah, don't mind me.

But you can't use it multiple times. No matter how many you have, you can only use it once per cooldown period. Not like the Zyus where you get one use per every set of 6.

Personally, I'd only be okay with this if it didn't impact Summon. GoNs are rare by design and imo should stay annoying to get.

 

I don't think this fits a time-based dragon actually. Something with strong mana would make the most sense. "Dragon shares its mana with Other Dragon, allowing it to use its magic again." The only dragons I can think of for this tho are the Magi, which has a BSA, the Magiea, which is too rare, and the Arcana, which is a Holiday.

I said it only works 3 times in my original post. I only mentioned it cause that's the only case where collecting more dragons doesn't equal more uses in a given timeframe. As for if it's worth it, that's up to everyone here. I just had to say it cause people erroneously saying /all/ BSAs can be collected multiple dragons of to bypass the cooldown already.
