Arcana Breeding Plans

Arcanas are so pretty! I love the male Fall Seasonals and female Pyropes with them, but I'm also wondering what they'd look like with plainer colors, maybe Arcana x Ash or Arcana x White?

I immediately had to breed GoN and Arcana.  I got an Avatar of Change.

 

For more common pairings, I like pyrope, earth, and gaia pairings the best.  The red of the pyrope makes the red on the arcana pop and the same goes for the green of the earth and gaia pairing making the green flame of the arcana pop.

I personally favor the look of female arcana x male autumnal. Also western bronze and any gender arcana is gorgeous, and luckily for me, I won a western bronze last month!!! So I must get to work immediately!!!

I bred a male Arcana to my female Anagallis and I actually really like the look: WvFHb

I only have the one Anagallis though, so I'll have to go hunting or trade to get a good base for a decent checker.

It's lovely to see it for real! They actually have mostly the same colors , they complement each other fantastically! Let's see if I'm able to snatch one of those AP'ed eggs

I've decided on a lineage project with Garlands for my male Arcana.

 

Also want to start one with non-holidays for the females, but I'm still unsure what breed ... Will scroll through the thread again.

Arcana might be not the easiest to pair up, but still much easier than Omens

Experimented with my Arcana with a Spinel. I quite like how the red compliments each other! Might try a line, next year.

I just picked up Arcana x Stripe in the AP and it looks really nice. My other favorite is the combination with autumns.

Considering the father's code I had to test this pairing and I don't think Arcana x Green Copper looks too bad at all.

I'm doing male Storm x female Arcana and I did male Arcana x female Green, but didn't realize I was scroll locked(counted eggs, not hatchies ) so it's floating in the AP.

I'm quite taken with the male Autumns and female Brutes with these beauties! Glancing through this topic, Black Truffles, Gaias, Mageias and Kingcrownes look nice as well.
