ANSWERED:Custom Sort Error

Recommended Posts

I've been trying to organize my dragons and haven't been able to save successfully. I use the custom sort where you drag and drop the small tiles. I've sorted them three times now and every time I save, I get this error message and my scroll remains the same as it was before. Any fixes? I'd like to keep the custom sort I have other wise I'd try a different sort method.

I got the gravestone when I tried to sort dragons in a group.

I am sure TJ will fix it when he can.

Yeah. Let's see - here's the full error description so far: I first noticed the problem about 2.5 hours ago in Firefox. Chrome and Opera are affected, too. It occurred in the Scroll-wide custom sort and hits right when you try to save the sorting. It happens in all three of the sort versions. It doesn't occur in the Groups, though - there you can save your sorting without problems.

I'm having the same issue, but my husband is not. Weird...O_o

That's strange, do you and your husband use different browsers?

Just tried it to see if I got the error too, yup, when trying to save a custom sort.

Ah so it's not just me.

I'm using Chrome, if that matters.

Same here on Chrome. I noticed the problem this afternoon, so it has been at least 6 hours for me. The page loads just fine....but the save custom sort just goes straight to the error. Wonder if it has anything to do with the number of dragons on the scroll....I have over 10,500.

Not sure, I only have 1,112 dragons and still have the issue myself.

So not a problem with too many dragons, good. It has been a problem for me on other things in the past, like the scroll banner I use that is the one TJ did and it would not work for me due to high number of dragons and he had to make adjustments. Hmm I see that is not working right either, it says eggs 1 and hatchies 0 when I have 3 eggs and 11 hatchies visable.

I first had this problem on my new laptop, but it did not affect my desktop. That was weeks ago and it is still there, but I just assumed it was an issue with my laptop, along with the dozen others I had, and have just been using my desktop. It has been several hours now for me too. I can do everything, but as soon as I move to do something else, I get the error. I thought it was not doing the things I was trying, like grabbing eggs or incubating them, but apparently it does?

Nah, we use Firefox. Though I tested both our accounts on Chrome too. Mine still has the issue and my husband's account is just fine. Now, the one thing I do different then him is how I sort my Dragons. I tend to use the manual sort due to how many Dragons I have. Rodney said he uses the table sort. I tried using the table and grid sorting only to have the same error.
