This has been mentioned by others and me in the news thread, but I have matured Ash and Boreal hatchlings that have their gender listed as unknown.

 

I also have ones with the proper genders that were influenced as soon as I caught their eggs.

 

I'm assuming this is not intentional.

Confirming, I have one ash and one boreal on my scroll with Gender: Unknown as well. Rather amusing, but like Jazeki I'm guessing not intentional.
