2018-07-29 - July Dragon Release (Part 2)

.I got a blue one. :)

 

Caught on release day just after midnight. Not incubated.

 

ETA: Now I have two blue ones. Neither were incubated. Both were caught within a half hour of the initial release. I used precog on both, influence on one of them. They hatched with stats very similar to the green one I got yesterday. The green one was incubated. I also used precog on that one but not influence.

It can't be simply day grabbed, because both my green that hatched yesterday and my green that hatched just now were grabbed on the 29th.

Ok—theory;

 

Green: Two BSAs used (or more)

Blue: One BSA used

Purple: No BSA used

 

Think of “mood rings,” they change color when touched—too much contact changes the color of these? Can anyone who has had a result different from my theory let me know?

Okay. I'm gonna compare stats with a green I just hatched and a blue I snagged from the hatchery:

From what I'm seeing from other people, the views are varying wildly, so I don't know if it could connect to views. But this is what I've got?

Hmmm... Okay, so it's not day hatched, not day caught/laid... It shouldn't be view-related 'cause one of my greens has 1,500-odd and the other hatched well above 2,000... Whaaa?

Maybe? My hatchling is at 1.6k right now. Not sure how much it was at when it hatched.

I've got some not used any BSA on that hatch in 2hrs. But I don't think that's it

I thought the blue might just be the non incubating one only being able to hatch a midnight and so the ones that are hatching green right now might still be the incubatedones.

Unless you're SURE that egg (blue) recently hatched (past like 2 min) the stats could be widely varied based on the people trying to figure it out.

All of the blues I've seen so far were from the Alpine. I don't know if that's significant, but it's weird.

except someone incubated their eggs and got a blue, so you can use incubate

 

if it's by number of BSAs used, that would SUCK. Rely on LUCK to get the male and females we need?

Or don’t incubate. I wonder if precognition doesn’t trigger it, since it’s not a direct touch BSA?
