So i should have 4 blue eggs and 1 purple egg, if tomorrow ends up being Purple babies hatching. I'll probably fog two of the blue eggs to hatch a day later to be purple, providing this theory proves correct

Mine just hatched and it's green... gonna try to hatch another one in case for some reason it was too far cracked. Fingers crossed I guess. :')

So you do! Did you incubate it, by chance?

 

@Cjcrazy I just incubated and hatched two a minute ago and both were green, so it’s not day hatched, at least not alone.

interesting...could it be from when they are picked up, not from when they hatch?

So one grabbed on release day, even ER"d until a day later, STILL hatches green?

I saved this guy; from the first day, incubated, but fogged. Expecting it to hatch green, but who knows?

No.

 

Looking at the ER (so recently hatched) eggs, a lot of them are still green.

Everyone, it is NOT just “new day = new color,” myself and others just hatched eggs a minute ago and got greens.

 

Looking at the blue hatchie I’m guessing...

 

1. Day GRABBED, not day hatched

2. Low view count

It was caught on the 29th, so that's possible.

 

I'm not sure if I want to dump mine in hatcheries. They can hatch now and weren't incubated, but I don't want more greens.

I found one that was caught July 29th, and it's blue. It must have JUST hatched.

I was thinking views (+/- 2k)

But can cross that off, I saw a green with under 2k.

I’m putting money on day grabbed being the factor.

 

...While that would be straightforward, like Fire Gems I’d find it kind of arbitrary / silly. I sort of hope it’s something else.

interesting...well i'm not incubating my 5 eggs. But low views is tricky because you still need to be able to hatch it and with my luck they'll either go over or die from not hatching xD

Daaang! I saw people mentioning blues so I unfogged and hatched one of mine and it's green! Jumped the gun a bit there. I wonder what it is then, if it's not by day hatched?
