I really like the Carina x Truffles idea. Here's another variation to try out since the Truffles aren't dimorphic.

 

And this one is like a heart of fire & ice.

I know this is kinda #old news now but I just wanted to say they look good with embers! I don't know how to do a full mockup but I have a 3G already and I'm loving 'em.

Their eye color makes them look really nice with just the female Ridgewings, too!

This is my favorite by far! I'm not usually one for hybrids either.
