The only thing I need help with is how to add my avatar and signature. Can you (or anyone else) Help with that?

Yes: now that you're approved to post, you should be able to by going to your profile in the upper left. Click on your avatar to edit it, and to edit your signature, use the drop-down to go to account settings.
