Here are a few combinations I'm quite keen to make once mine grow up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These are my immediate thoughts. There are countless other combinations I can't wait to see, but I can't be bothered photoshopping them all.  I think they'd also look great with Freckled, Kingcrowne, Khusa, Pillow, Autumn, Sunsong, Turpentine, Xenowyrms (Pyro, Gaia, Mageia) and countless others.

I really love them with female Antareans, if you put their sprites together it could look like she's booping his cheek or something ❤️

 

And of course, I have to always check my favorite with new breeds and I think I'm in love!

Wow, they look great with Magmas! I like them a lot with Antareans, both male and female. We have a lot of gorgeous red/orange/yellow dragons in cave that these are going to go really beautifully with. Anything black/brown will also look fantastic, too, I think. I'm really excited to start breeding them!

I really like female Monarchs and male Antareans! And they look extra Gryffindor with Golds. In fact, I quite like the idea of pairing everyone with their house's secondary color... Leodon x Gold, Lacula x Silver, Razorcrest x liver Copper, Melismor x Black. I may need to attempt an 8-species lineage!

 

Anyways, Fire Gems anyone? I think they look best with male greens and female blues, but I've made mockups of all colors and sexes which you can see here.

They look super, super cute with Freckled dragons!  @cbussiere I like your idea of pairing them with the house's secondary colours. I might have to do a big lineage like the one you described, myself! I'm so excited for these dragons to start growing up so they can be bred.

The Radiant Angels, Firegems, Reds, and Candlebras are my favorite so far! I don't actually like them with Golds, because the two different shades of gold make the actual Gold dragon look super washed out/ yellow. 

 

I'd love to see them with a purple or brighter blue dragon, personally.

The blue and yellow complement each other while the reds match. 👀

 

Likewise, here the species' accents are complementary.

I think my favorite combo at the moment is Leodon x Blue Fire Gem. They create a nice contrast, and at the same time the Gem's fire breath matches Leodon's colors perfectly.
