ANSWERED:bred egg abandoned, scroll shows not full

I bred two stripes to get an egg just now. https://dragcave.net/lineage/hR9H3 It auto'd abandoned right away and I got that one message on my action account area  

Automatically abandoned an egg or hatchling due to breed limits.

I didn't drop it into the ap, it was for a trade. Is there something I am missing?

That looks wrong, you should have had the room on your scroll for it. Stripes aren't one of the species with breed limits.

The action log always claims it's due to breed limits no matter what gets auto-abandoned.

 

Is there a chance an egg hadn't hatched before you bred it so you were still egglocked, but then hatched right after so it looked like your scroll was free?

Have you killed an egg in any way (bite, earthquake, or the kill action) in the last 24 hours? That's the only thing I can think of. Otherwise it's definitely a glitch.

Killed eggs would be counted as eggs still on the trophy page - at least they used to do so.

 

But what about held eggs from Celestial multi-clutches? Nope, these would be properly added, too.

I *just* tried to accept a bred red egg from a friend and it told me i was full but i have 7/8 eggs as well, its telling me i have 24/24 growing but its inaccurate. I've counted and had someone else count to be certain. Counting eggs and hatchlings there are 22 not 24.  Does the count update automatically or hourly ?

 

One dragon just grew and i froze a hatchling a few minutes ago.

 

I logged out and logged back in to see if it might help but no luck.

Its still showing 24/24 and ive recounted to be certain.

You actually do have 24 growing things. 2 of your Red hatchies are moved down on your scroll a bit, near Dex Pointdexter (hiding behind his large red fins).

One way round this is to filter to show growing things. Then the number at the top tells you, and you can also see them all!

I didn't breed a celestial, nor did I kill anything, never have used earthquake. So this must be a glitch?

PDC asked TJ to take a look at your scroll's action log.  He can see stuff we can't.

 

One of your other eggs hatched 1 minute after the breeding.  When you bred it, you were still at 8/8 eggs - but when you looked at your scroll limits right after, it was 7/8 because the other egg had hatched.

 

Seems like it was bad timing.  Sorry about your egg!

Did you need a new Stripe egg (red) from two whites to replace yours? I can breed you one. I have literally over 100 CB White Stripes. One couple is BOUND to produce a red egg.

That's happened to me, but I lost a 2G PB Silver egg. I almost cried. It was my first PB Silver egg ever.
