Alright.  I was just curious.  Usually, when things are changed for April Fool's Day, they go back to normal the day after.

Some of these dragons actually look really, really good with the mint colors.

 

Eastern Prize Dragon looks really good, also the Pumpkins, Freckled, Shallow Water, Horse Dragon, Anagallis, Scripts, Tarantula Hawk Drakes, Undine look good, just to name a few!

 

The Arsani sprites are top tier as well!

 

 

Great job all of the spriters who were involved in changing colors!

This year they aren't. Trading is actually disabled on the egg, specifically.

That's happened to other people, too. There's a thread about it in the Help forum. It's unclear whether this was an intentional prank or a mistake, but it's not really much of a problem either way.  Enjoy the extra egg!

You are unable to get an upside down mint from the game until next year.  But some players may abandon their upside down eggs and if you are lucky you could get one from the abandoned page when they start showing.

 

Last year, that allowed me to get a pair of upside down mints and a pair of regular mints (but from the Cave, so they are a bit special):

Has it been confirmed that the game will return at all next year? My impression is that this was a one-off.

I appreciate the advice though - although if they can't be traded this year, I'm not sure if they could be abandoned either. I'll keep an eye open, though.

No one knows if it will come back next year. I personally hope not as I would like a different April Fool's event to have fun with, but that is me personally.

I'm going to be really sad if the easter eggs all stay mintified... not that it's not wonderful for April Fool's day but my favorite thing about easter on DC is seeing all the different things the spriters come up with.

Eh, I don't mind that this might end up being a yearly thing since you have only a chance to get the egg as long as the surrounding nonsense is different.

I assume the fact that you were probably successful has nothing to do with that opinion?

 

Had this been a one-off for last year, I'd have agreed, but since it was brought back this year, I think it should continue to be brought back every year as a tradition - perhaps, as Guillotine says above, with different surrounding nonsense.

No, I didn't want the egg. I don't like Mints, so I didn't get the egg. But, if it does come back, I do hope it won't be the only special event (aside from FoE).
