Another Quick-ish Question: Do spiral (or stair) lineages need to be 'perfect' in order to qualify for francs for offspring, stair/spiral francs (referring to info copied into spoiler below)? For example, if instead of creating a spiral that alternates between male and female spouses every generation, maybe one that is a two-step spiral pattern, where spouse genders switch every two generations bred instead.

 

Also, if the above is acceptable, since Sylvaine is a misgender, is it possible to switch patterns part way through and her future offspring qualify for these? Or would her children not qualify since it breaks the original pattern?

Or if I inherited a lineaged royal that was a stair building up that misgenders, switch to building a stair going down (a broken stair lineage).

 

On that note, what if there were francs awarded for x number of generations in general in addition to the fancy pattern versions, and maybe francs awarded for number of offspring for a given pair or royal (since continuing the royal bloodline holds great importance)? Just some thoughts.

If you don't want to link to your scroll each time, you don't have to; though it does make it easier for checking favor points.  

 

Rekha and I would like to see lineages be as creative as everyone would like to make them; so to answer your question (sorry for a late reply) a lineage does not need to be "perfect" in order to qualify for francs for the offspring. So for your example, a two-step spiral pattern would be perfectly acceptable.

 

Since the above is acceptable, Sylvaine's future offspring can still qualify for points even if you switch patterns. A "broken" stair lineage would be equally acceptable. 

 

I'm working on revamping the francs system, and will definitely be adding in points for x number of generations in addition to patterned versions. I'll post with an update on the francs section soon (this week if everything goes as planned)!

So I just wanted to do a quick update. I will be taking the time to breed in the next couple of days. I have been ill and stressed waiting for medical tests. I will explain everything eventually I am sort of just letting everything settle in my mind right now before I announce everything but I will work to update the Queens Court in the next few days. Just know I haven't forgotten about any of you!

I'm especially excited about the writing one. @pretty_thumb (I'm actually confused if it's shared-gender or opposite? Am I going off my lineaged dragon's gender since its their parent? A  **FLASH** RAFFLE

 

Hi, friends! Sorry again for my absence; I've been busy working at my new job! I've been prepping for a raffle for the past week or so (I wanted to celebrate the new job!) - but I've been so busy working that *all* of the eggs I caught to gift have now hatched and are close to growing up/are ER. The good news is that means that you'll get your raffle results faster than you would normally. Due to the timing left on some of the hatchlings, you will only be able to enter the raffle for a period of (24) hours from this posting. 

 

There are a total of (5) hatchlings to gift, so there will be (5) winners chosen this round. Players from either court may enter. To keep things even more of a surprise (and keep you all on your toes), the prizes will not be revealed until the winners are drawn! As usual, winners will be chosen using a random generator and all results will be screenshot.
