(I think?  I got myself all confused about the point system, until I read in the FAQ that the value of a gifted egg or hatchie is always calculated according to the breeder, not the person whose scroll the egg hatches on.  So, if the breeder was from Sky Clan, I use their favor point system to calculate, right?  If so, I think I messed up on my previous two dragons that grew up.  Oh, dear...)

Oops, I'm so sorry for the confusion! I think the information in the FAQ was very poorly written. I've updated it, so hopefully it's clearer to understand now. 

 

In any case, don't worry! I always check on the points before adding them, and I've grown pretty accustomed to the points system in general. So, I usually catch any errors and correct them in good time! In any case, I've added the points! 

 

This is the updated information: (let me know if it's still confusing!)

The breeder (ie the person whose scroll the egg is laid on) gets the Favor Points for breeding (if the egg is at one of the milestone generations) and gifting. 

 

The Clan Favor Point System used to calculate the worth of the offspring is determined by whose scroll the egg hatched on. For eg, if the egg hatched on the scroll of a Rose Clan member, the Rose Clan's point system is used.

No, that should clear it up!  It makes a lot more sense now -- that means i did it right the first couple of times, but my last post was wrong: the dragon hatched on my scroll, therefore it should have been +8 points to Rose Clan (Red male hatched on my scroll, battle bonus), and no points to any other clan.  Those were the points you added, correct?  (I'm sorry, I'm hoping to get the hang of everything here very soon!)   :-)

My prince and his concubine have refused each other 😢......a sad day indeed.....They'll never see the future I had planned for them...

If a consort or concubine doesn't work, they aren't married :) That's why Mink has us wait to fill out marriage announcements until a successful breeding! Your concubine is free to see if she likes another prince.
